I've been tagged...

List five songs that you are currently loving. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.

Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog (Xanga). Then tag five other Xanga friends to see what they're listening to.

1) Jack Johnson- Banana Pancakes

2) The Eagles- Hotel California

3) White Stripes- Hotel Yorba

4) Queen- Bicycle Race

5) Beulah- Gravity's Bringing us Down

TAG YOU'RE IT:

Yesterday was pretty eventful..

Woke up really early thinking i'd leave the house around 9..but ended up leaving at 11...went to the eye doctor to pick out new frames for my glasses. i have such freaking bad eyes :o( ..then was stuck in the car for long periods of time because my dad had to have some clients sign papers--so this was time to read HP. haha. and then we finally went to the health district so i could get the rest of my shots for school.

After all that, my dad dropped me off at UNLV so i could meet up my sister. Just my luck, i left my phone in the car and was walking around aimlessly trying to find the library--and apparently i didn't understand the directions this one guy gave very clearly because i still had no idea where to go. i felt so clueless haha..and like a freshman. which i AM..but i was even more "loser-feeling" cause i haven't even started college yet. so i finally ran into Monique and we walked to the library together. I've been to the Lied Library before, but this time was sucky cause i was getting blisters from my chucks.  It wasn't until i saw my sister and Sami that i finally started to have fun. : D

So we ended up being 11 people..headed for dinner at this BBQ place called Lucille's in Green Valley..the atmosphere was perfect and homey..and the food was goood. I got to finally hang out with Karen, Sean, Dickson, Karla, Annie and Zhi again..it was fun times and non-stop laughing. Especially on the ride back to UNLV to drop off Joe and Sami...we were screaming in Bet-o's car and kept on doing it until Sami recorded a decent sample of us losing our voices..it was pretty pointless, but funny nonetheless. oh what fun..now i'm sad because i'm leaving in 6 days..and i still want to hang out more. time is precious..and it flies by so fast.  Thanks to my friends for a memorable dinner that'll keep me happy 'til i leave for Irvine.

So summer has been pretty much amazing

Graduation parties: Mike's and Joy's; Naomie's sweet 16 party; quickie trips to Irvine for testing; trip to San Francisco with parents; "doing lunch" with friends; roasting marshmallows in the school soccer field; the OCA Convention with some of my cotillion girls and Boupha--Studio 54! and touring the strip; lots and lots of dance practice at Leshelle's house; goofing off at Leshelle's house; Leshelle's debut; trips to Mandalay Bay; staying the weekend at Mandalay Bay's THEhotel...finally getting a chance to go to the beach at Mandalay Bay; watching Mamma Mia!; orientation at UCI;  road trip to Newport/Laguna with sister, Annie, Bet-o, and Zhi--learning how to boogie board :) ; trips to the movie theater..and library to "borrow" dvds; watching an early screening of Red Eye w/ Angelo; lots of visits from family--meaning going out to entertain them...or the best--girl talk. hahah. *i know i forgot some others...

I don't know how many times i've said this, but summer after graduation is the best EVER!! ..oh yea, plus..I gained weight hahah.

I only have 11 more days in Las Vegas until i'm off to California! :o] So many friends have already left--going as far as New York and Massachusetts; it makes me sad to be one of the few still here.  i've already had 3 months of summer vacation so far--everyday felt productive and exciting (even if it meant doing loads of laundry in between episodes of summer shows on tv).  Honestly, i'm just about ready for new beginnings on move-in day.  After having my roommate randomly IM me a couple days ago, the reality of being away from home hit me.  So...her name's Sam..and she's awesome.  hopefully we will get along just fine..have lots of fun..and pass our classes. :)

Right now i'm at my Aunt's new house..it's only for investment so it's partially furnished. i feel like i'm camping... with me lying on the "comforter for a bed" as i write this...even though i know it's nothing compared to sleeping in the outdoors haha. :P  i've been staying here since yesterday and it's been surprisingly fun..i just read my Harry Potter. i love it..

I'll miss soo many when I leave this town...i love my family and friends...but i know i can always come back to open-arms.  At least i know God is always with me. :)

geeze..i'm so excited. yay!! okay bye.
